DEER COLLECTION
The Wabaningo Whitetail
I named this buck the Wabaningo Whitetail because I took his photo while he was standing directly across the street from a seasonal post office on Sylvan Beach that’s on a small peninsula between Lake Michigan and White Lake in Whitehall, Michigan.
The Wabaningo Doe
Take on the same day very close to where the Wabaningo Whitetail photo was taken. When I lived in this area many years ago and traveled this area daily, and if my memory serves me well, it was rare to see deer on this peninsula.
The No Name Key Fawn
This name is actually fitting as the fawn was photographed on Pine Pine Key as I was driving out to the Doctor’s Arm area where the No Name Pub (great pizza) and onto No Name Key in the Florida Keys.
Lazy Ladies
These two Florida Key Deer Doe where taking a siesta and alerted to the sound of my SUV. Not in any hurry to run off, these two ladies just wanted to took a look at who interupted their siesta.
Moose on The Loose
Traveling the Going-the-Sun-Road in Glacier National Park and pulling over for for a scenic overlook we noticed this moose trying to be inconspicuous and find a way to cross the street.
Just Fall Off Already
This bull moose was photographed just off Teton Park Road (Highway 191/26/89) by Jackson Hole Airport (JAC). Although not noticeable in this photo, the moose’s antlers were almost ready to be shed for the season.
The Merit Monster
The Merit Monster photograph was taken in Merit, Michigan back in 2013. The photo was taken through a window and a fence (if I remember correctly) while on our daily deer sighting drive.
